Folks,
I am in the keys and haven't had much of note. However, I did photo a Wurdemann's Heron at the east end of Big Coppitt Key this morning. How uncommon are they, out of curiosity? Online references say "rare" but no details are generally offered.
Also, farther north yesterday I did see 3 Purple Swamphens from the bank between Markham Park and the water conservation area, so many thanks to those who posted about those.
