I had to take my son to ENP this afternoon for a Class/Lab so I birded while waiting. Saw a couple of birds worth mentioning...
A single Western Kingbird on the wires on the main road just before the turn off to Lucky Hammock.
A dozen or so American Robins at the Daniel Beard Center... most I've seen in several years. Flying around together like you would expect when they are here in larger numbers.
I saw no Cardinals or Hummingbirds while there... go figure!
