Itinerary TAS Trip Saturday January 25, 2014
1. Meet 8:00 AM at Tall Cypress Natural Area--directions on TAS calendar. Bathrooms available. Bring lunch.
2. Hoechoke Hammock (Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church).
Directions--from Tall Cypress turn right and return to Sample. Turn right (west) onto Sample. Go 2.2 miles, and turn right (north) onto University. 2.1 mile (you will cross under the Sawgrass) take right at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Hammock is to the left of church. No facilities.
3. Windmill Park
Directions--You must turn right onto University. Make an immediate u-turn onto University southbound. At second major intersection turn left onto Wiles Rd. After crossing State Rd 7 get in right hand lane. Turn right onto Lyons Rd. At 3.2 miles turn left into park. Facilities available.
4. Fern Forest
Directions--Exit park and turn left on Lyons. At the next intersection (Atlantic) get in right lane. Park entrance is just past the intersection on right. Facilities available.
