Taking scenic route back to broward county today I veered south at Lake Harbor from 27 and took the Miami canal south through Rotenberger and Holey Land. About 5 miles or so south of lake harbor, on the west side of the canal, is a small patch of trees I've taken to calling Lucky Hammock North. There's usually a good amount of birds there and ive seen a few interesting ones over the years...well now there is a nest and two resident bald eagles as well.
