ENP yesterday- lots of young anhingas!

My husband and I took a drive out to enjoy the beautiful holiday weather. We stopped at Anhinga Trail and saw at least 3 sets of anhinga fledlings and several females on nests. If you have never seen "anhinglets", go out soon. The little " white balls of feathers" are quite interesting!
Also stopped at Pa-hay-Kee and saw a Gray Catbird.
Final stop, Flamingo- 3 white pelicans and 2 sets of nesting ospreys- one pair has chosen a very unusual spot to place a nest. Look for it near the bridge by the gas pumps.
AND- then note the 2 crocodiles on the opposite side of the bridge that has been roped off.
