There were two female Black Scoters at the Deering Canoe Launch today. The birds were seen at 5:30PM and were rather close to the shore offering great views with just binoculars. I called Toe and he came over with his younger daughter to check out the ducks. I believe he got some decent ID photos, or should I say "pho-Toes".
