I'm just NW of the Falls, off 97th Ave.
The plants these birds love, including the firebush you mentioned, include red and purple firespike,
bahama swampbush (a hummingbird magnet), pink porterweed. I tried an orange oriole feeder last year, but they were not attracted to it. Like the hummingbirds in our yard every year, they prefer the nectar plants to feeders. They also are in the birdbath a lot.
