Hello all,

Well, I believe that I got my last two year/life birds for 2005 this morning.
That is unless some miracle happens.

The other day while looking for the Great Crested Brown Ash-throated
Flycatcher, I mentioned to Larry M that I went hunting for Red-cockaded
Woodpeckers while up at St. Marks with no luck.

He let me know of a spot that I may be able to find them. So Toe and I headed
out this morning and found some mature pines and began listening and looking.
Soon we heard the call and then we saw the bird. There were at least two birds.

He mentioned that I would be able to get Brown-headed Nuthatches also. Within
a few minute we found those as well. The Nuthatches were not close enough for a
photo but, we got good looks.

I will finish up the year with 285 species seen and 260 photographed. I may
have to take a few off the list to adhere to the ABA list, but only a few. I
already took off several and I'm going to share my list with Alex. I'm sure he
will let me know what doesn't count.

I'm working on a website to share my photos and that should be up soon.

Thank you TAS and all that helped me this year. I had a great time birding
with every one of you.

Happy New Year!
