Dan,
You're right about the restricted access! Unfortunately the area is very sensitive and the bird could not be made public. We'd have a similar situation as Little Talbot Island with everyone trampling the endangered vegetation to see the Snowy Owl! All my year birds have been entered in eBird (with the exception of the Caracara since my internet/cable provider hasn't come by yet) so you can always pull up the checklist for more info:
