Happy New Year to all. It was nice day for a drive up the strech. Had a nice treat with a flock of about 20 Black Scoters just north of MM 109. There was a very large light colored gull one a sand bar I was unable to identify due to traffic. It was much to light to be a black backed. I also had a Short-tailed Hawk right at the top end of the strech and a Northern Harrier in the fields just across from Wal-Mart in Florida City.
