Nothing too excitable was found, possibly due to the weather. Unseasonably warm temperatures along with cloudy, overcast skies and calm winds with 72 degrees F., made for a quiet, lackluster day. The winds did pick up around 11 am, coming from the east at 10-15 mph. Six hours were spent on the water in a kayak checking the perimeters of both lakes and adjoining creeks. A total distance of 12.2 miles were covered.
