I checked the Old Griffin Road area this week with hope against hope for the SB Ani, but once again and for at least a year, no bird. Remember this is not the optimal time of year (or is there really any time that is optimal) to get a Mangrove Cuckoo. To improve your chances look for a large moving shadow in the mangroves. Despite being a large bird they are very secretive and hard to see. Good luck you are need it.
