Well, the Hooded Mergansers continue to elude me, while the American Pipits continue to elude Rangel. We are in desperate need of any reports of the following in Dade County:
Hooded Merganser
Bufflehead
Surf Scoter
Short-eared Owl (no sign at Lucky Hammock on Monday)
Vesper, Song, Le Conte's Sparrow
Dickcissel
Please let us know if any are found. We'll be looking hard this Saturday.
