My VENT group had 3 female Greater Scaup hanging out together among the large duck/coot flock on West Lake on Saturday. Their long, continuous white wing stripes were well seen as we watched them fly away. Hopefully they will return.
We also relocated the Matheson La Sagra's Flycatcher in a large mixed flock along the path from the parking lot to the restrooms rather than down by the lake. It was not calling when we saw it around noon.
