I had a lot of fun assisting with the Biscayne National Park CBC on Friday morning. Near one of the smaller mangrove island we had 23 Magnificent Frigatebirds fly up and over us. I even spotted an inflated red throat pouch on one of the males.
We also found a couple groups of American White Pelicans (18 total) floating nearby. I was very pleased to see 1 White-crowned Pigeon on Adams Key and 5 Great White Herons throughout the southern end of the park. I'd be interested to know how the other parties fared.
