Excellent! Thanks to your camcorder and persistence, we have now verifiably documented another Neotropical migrant during winter in Florida.
In the past 10 years or so, the following wintering species have been verified via archived (e.g., published) photographs ir videotapes:
Common Nighthawk
Eastern Kingbird
Cliff Swallow
Blue-winged Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Bobolink
For those wanting to join in on the fun (and field ornithology), the following Neotrops _remain_ to be archivally documented in Florida during winter (among several other, less likely wintering species):
Swallow-tailed Kite
White-rumped Sandpiper
Roseate Tern
Least Tern
Chimney Swift
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Acadian Flycatcher
Red-eyed Vireo
Veery
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Blackburnian Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Scarlet Tanager
