I found the La Sagra's Flycatcher I thought I heard last weekend at Matheson Hammock. Pull into the entrance to the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens, to the left is a parking lot for Matheson. Walk east to the pond's edge. I first saw the bird by walking east down a muddy trail along the southern edge of the pond. The trail intersects another gated trail which heads south into the mangrove forest/swamp at Fairchild. It was in this general vicinity. I would never have found it if I hadn't heard it calling repeatedly. It seems to be moving around a fair amount, though always near the pond, as I later heard it on the western side of the pond adjacent to the park area with the oak trees. It is quite vocal and you should be able to hear it from the parking lot if it is calling. I later walked around Fairchild where the only bird of note was a Magnolia Warbler. I've posted a link to a subpar photo below.
