No, it didn't make up for it. These are great birds, but Rangel and I already have them for the year. It was his 3rd Western Tanager for the year, and my 3rd Nashville and Blue-winged. I would have given them up for a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
Thank goodness we didn't see any painted buntings or this thread would go on forever.
