Toe and I went looking for any bird to add to his Dade County list for 2013... We didn't find much and no new county birds for Toe, but on our way out of the Park we saw two Barn Swallows flying around with several Northern Rough-wing Swallows and a few Tree Swallows.
I was able to get a few photos of the swallows.
I enjoyed the day, but Toe was frustrated since being just two birds shy of 300 species for Dade County.
Over all it looks like it may be a slow Christmas Count for the Long-Pine Key Circle.
