After a short absence, the Common Eider that had been hanging out at the Lake Worth Pier has made an appearance at the Boynton Inlet.
I went to the inlet to see if any seabirds might be blown in with today's NE winds but didn't expect anything new. So I didn't bother to take my camera out of the car. Mistake! After I spotted the Eider on the south side (leeward) of the north pier, I went back to my car to get my camera but then could not relocate the bird. So...no picture...today.
I'll be back at the inlet tomorrow morning and hope to get some shots of it.
