A morning walk around Miami Shores produced a number of parrot species: White-eyed, Blue-crowned, Red-masked and White-winged Parakeets, and Chestnut-fronted Macaw.
The most notable warbler species was a Magnolia out of the eight species found this morning. A light Short-tailed Hawk was mixed in with a group of Turkey Vultures.
After a nine month absence from the state for work and travel, it is good to see that the parrots have not moved around much.
