Technically it is true that the NP has "ownership" of specimens salvaged within their boundaries. But those specimens end up at the Florida Museum of Natural History anyway (e.g., that WWCR is at the FLMNH). I think it would be okay that we skip the middleman and we will report them to ENP, which does not have its own research collection
