I wish I could say the same. I have two that appear every day but do not stay in my yard. Once or twice I saw five. I think the shrub trimming, the cat on the roof, the aggressive C. Grackles and the Cooper's Hawk have deterred them somewhat this year !!! Even the little male Ruby-throated hummer that is usually a regular visitor, comes to my feeder only occasionally. One time I saw him at my front feeder and then zip over the roof of my house toward the street in back of me. As small as he is, his little body looked quite plump in flight---appeared well fed. There is a Hong Kong Orchid tree in full bloom the direction he was headed.
