Regarding Toe's Nov. 12 report of the missing Hooded Mergansers at "Mt. Schinus" (Gate 15 mound in Everglades National Park), I saw 16 females at Mrazek Pond today at about 10 a.m.
Unfortunately for Toe Mrazek Pond is in Monroe and not Dade County.
If I see any in West Lake (Dade County), I'll let you know!
