Ducks off Deering Canoe Launch

Did a bay watch as the cold front moved through from 4:15 to 5:20. Saw the following in 3 segregated groups:

Lesser Scaup, flock of 20
Black Scoter, flock of 6
Northern Pintail, flock of 4
American Wigeon, 1 with the pintail

What's interesting is that all were flying north into the wind. Guess they realized they were in Dade County and had to get back out asap!

Since these sightings are not interesting enough, when I got home a Cardinal chased a Bunting right next to a hummer in my yard. There, that should get some replies.
