Thanksgiving birdathon

Well after about 1000 miles for the weekend I did get three new birds Mississippi Kite, Budigar, and Whooping Crane (though I know they aren't countable here in Florida) I did have a pair of adults sit down within about 80 yards of me. It was wonderful to see them that close. Completely filled up the scope. Many other good birds too, too many to list. Missed two other target ones; Black Rail and Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow. Oh well save them for another trip.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions on the birding guide. I had ordered a copy from ABA but it didn't get here in by Wednesday. I was able to get a copy from ENP Visitor Center Store before I left town on Wednesday.
