Anhinga Trail is starting to fill up with wildlife once again. More and more Anhinga's each day. This morning caught a glimpse of 2 yellow crowned night herons building their nest in their usual spot (after second fork on trail). There was also an immature black crowned sitting near by. A visitor pointed out an American Bittern camouflaged in the grasses.

Park still closed from Mahogany Hammock to Flamingo. Flamingo is one big sheet of solidified mud. Most of the vegetation is dead. Still no ETA for re-opening that area.
