second guessing ID of Phalarope

After looking at photos for some time, I'm going to have to back off a definitive ID. I wasn't able to get a great look and there are photos out there showing much more red/buff on the juvie Red-necked Phalarope then the field guides suggest. I can tell you it was either Red or Red-necked but don't want to go further than that. Sorry about that.
