Red Phalarope and warblers

This morning I went to the Newport Pier location that Toe mentioned in a recent post. There was a juvenile Red Phalarope swimming near the pier, flying to various clumps of seaweed. It still had a darker-backed look to it which threw me off on the ID. There were additional small birds further out that I think were Phalarope spec. as well. There were still a couple small flocks of Scoters flying around in addition to Jaeger spec. and N. Gannet.

I then headed over to Greynolds Park where the most notable sightings were 4 Magnolia Warblers, a single male Blue-winged Warbler (continuing?), and a Black-throated Green Warbler. Most of the birds were in the west side of the park.
