With reports of 1,000's of scoters heading south along the coast in the last 2-3 days, I'm wondering if we are going to see another invasion of Razorbill. There have been some pretty awesome birds seen along the coast up north, including Black-legged Kittiwake, Sabine's Gull, Common Eider, Long-tailed Duck, Manx and Great Shearwater, all three Jaegers, Red Phalarope, and a few Surf Scoters along with all the Black Scoter. Due to the topography of our coast, and maybe other factors, we don't seen to get many of these as close to our shores and farther up the coast, and with seas 7-9 feet you need a bigger boat to get out there. I just happen to have a boat that I could have used to be out there these last 2 days, if only it was finished, AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
