I went on a pelagic/fishing trip with Toe, Rangel and Josh today. We went out to Pacific Light located east and south of Elliott Key to check for boobies. We certainly were not disappointed with 41-Brown Boobies as well as an immature RED-FOOTED BOOBY! What a way to start the day!
We had a fun catching some Blackfin Tuna and a nice Dolphin fish. We also saw at least two or more Pomarine Jaegers but not too much else pelagic wise. Boat issues caused us to pretty much call it a day by about 12:00 p.m. While on our way back, Toe spotted a Northern Pintail on the jetty at Black Point, what an odd place for one!
