I can see how they'd sneak into the cage feeders. I want to say aslong as their head fits they can squeeze their whole body through an opening but the Sadowski feeder is a different style that closes the feeding port when too much weight is applied to the perch. I have seen squirrels figure it out before but they usual give up real quick and just feed on the ground.
