Birded Barnes on Friday afternoon and found some goodies! It was nice to bird with Cajunspice which has been on fire lately and Jack who is always great to hang out with. Besides the Western Tanager which Doug also saw today a Short-tailed Hawk being harrased by a Cooper's Hawk made our day! The Short-tailed Hawk showed off its awesome maneuverability by going into a stoop, pulling up just in time to skim the tree tops, didn't catch a meal but the agility it displayed was amazing!
