On a trip this weekend to Disney World I spotted the following birds from my car window:
Anhinga
Double Crested Cormorant
White Ibis
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron
Tricolored Heron
Wood Stork
Sandhill Crane (my 2nd time only, cool bird)
Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture
Red Tailed Hawk
Kestrel
Osprey
Snail Kite (new species for me!)
Hooded Merganser (another new species for me)
Common Moorhen
Coot
Belted Kingfisher (my personal favorite Florida Bird)
Rock Dove
Collared Dove
Loggerhead Shrike
Common Grackle
Boat Tailed Grackle
House Sparrow
Cardinal
Fish Crow
Common Crow
Blue Jay
Red bellied Woodpecker
Cardinal
Mockingbird
It was a great way of killing 4 hours of being on the road. Oh yeah, I wasn't driving.
