There was lots of bird activity this morning in the brushy southwest section of Matheson Hammock Park. Nothing unexpected, just a nice variety. On the other hand, hardwood hammock areas were very quiet. Birds tallied:

Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler

Common Yellowthroat
Summer Tanager
Northern Cardinal
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Blue Grosbeak
Indigo Bunting
Painted Bunting
Nutmeg Mannikin
