I stopped there briefly after 5:30 on Thursday. There were, as all week, lots of birds (on Tuesday I got 15 warbler sp. in about 20 minutes here). In an Australian Pine snag, in the southeast part of the park, before the large strangler fig, it was perched, and flew out a few times. I got plenty of close, well lit views. The clincher was its dark patches on its breast, with the light mark down the middle with a yellowish tint. Several pics online were a perfect match. It was perched very upright, and there even was a wood-pewee near the parking lot I saw about 15 minutes before. Maybe it will remain tomorrow, as it foraged and went back to the same twig for a while.
