Did you see the three sandhill cranes in the Environmental Ed.yard on the Loop Rd. yesterday? That was the most unusual thing I saw. Also, three red fox squirrels. What is the rather slender fish with a black horizontal line that divides dark top from light bottom, and a rounded notched tail with a wide black stripe on the end? A fisherman told me it's a gar but I don't think so. There were a few breem with them and they seemed common in the clear waters.
