I'm usually loathe to post details about things I see on a golf course due to both restricted access and safety, but will make an exception here because I think that both issues are a little more manageable than usual...
I see a number of inquiries about Nandays, especially from folks who live outside the area. Those of us in Broward and PBC encounter them regularly, but it's tough to pin down a reliable spot to see them (nesting at Tall Cypress seems to have ultimately failed, though there are still plenty of them in the area). I've played Boca Dunes twice in the past year and both times seen a flock of 80-100 birds (yesterday, the entire flock was harassing a Merlin right over our heads - an event that even my usually non-interested playing partners found really cool!). The course is just north of the Broward/PBC line between SR7 and Lyons Rd. and IIRC the flock was in the area of the parking area at the end of SW 14th St (off Lyons). Several other roads also cross over the course in areas that are relatively safe (assuming that I'm not playing). That said, I'd still avoid the area on weekends since it's an inexpensive and popular course.
