I just had my window smashed at Evergreen Cemetery and they took my purse hidden in towels under the seat. The way they do it is park right up against your car so they are hidden between the cars, break your window and go through it to take stuff. The policeman said it is only the second car break-in he knew of there. The alarm never went off....we were a short distance from my car and several birders saw a black SUV with dark tinted windows that pulled up just beside mine for a few seconds. Just my luck! I wanted to tell others so you will be wary.... (They didn't take anything else, my friend had his scope in my trunk)
