I had some time waiting for a nearby shop to open at 9:00, so I birded in hopes of a Bird-A-Day. I quickly got a Tennessee Warbler, which I needed, but that later got trumped by a Philadelphia Vireo by the leisure access center. Larry was at Homeless Hammock looking for a possible Willow Flycatcher seen by the birder fka Rock Jetty yesterday. Turns out there are several empids in the area, including one makine a "whit" call but much softer than a typical willow. I got one photo of the bird. We are still debating its ID, and the discussion involved one very interesting possibility. More to come, hopefully.
