A first for me, at least in South Florida - I had never come across a red-tailed hawk down here (I used to see them out in the western US when I lived there). I had heard they exist in Florida, but usually the west coast. I had no idea what it was when I snapped a few pics from my pool in my back yard, but when I put up some heavy crops for ID, red-tailed hawk seemed to be the ID of choice. May not thrill anyone, but for me, a pretty cool sighting over my house in Boca. Here's a pic in case anyone can confirm or refute prior IDs.
