I can't speak for most of your wish list but try Wakodahatchee at Boynton Beach/Delray Beach for Limpkin. I hear them everytime I go but remain singularly unsuccessful in "seeing" them. But they are there. Turnpike exit 81, go east to Jog Road, turn north (left) to the Palm Beach county Water Utility plant. Address is 13026 Jog road Delray. Sora are also very plentiful, and most all other egrets, herons, moorhens, gallinules, etc. Almost all with babies. Blue winged teal were there three weeeks past and our very own mottled duck...well, anyway they do hang out here in the summer which is more than we can say for the tourists. :) The trip is about 20 minutes from Ft.Lauderdale. And if you are coming south just jump off before you go to FLL or MIA.
