Far more birds were in the park than earlier this week, hopefully presaging a successful TAS field trip tomorrow. In about 1 1/2 hours this morning -birding only the Nature Center- I had 11 species of warbler:
American Redstart 3
Ovenbird 11
BT Blue 6
B&W 1
Parula 4
Palm 3
Pine 6
Yellow-throated 2
Prairie 1
Tennessee 1
Worm-eating 1

Also seen were 9 Swainson's Thrushes, 1 Gray-cheeked Thrush, 2 Scarlet Tanagers, 3 Red-eyed Vireo and 1 White-eyed Vireo. Other birds of note were an empid (probably Acadian), Blue-and-yellow Macaw, and Tufted Titmouse.

See you tomorrow!
