I have now seen it twice---a Swainson's Thrush in my back yard! This morning I had an Ovenbird and within the last hour two Prairies, a male A. Redstart and a female Black-throated Blue. The Black-throated blue is favoring a Montgomery Palm loaded with fruit and blooms in my front yard. At first I was thinking it would be a Yellow-throated Warbler but was not. The winds are calm and I can see a large area of black clouds to the west horizon. A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was spotted in this same time period.
