I birded A. D. Barnes Park for about two and a half hours this morning and had ten species of warblers, including my FOTY Tennessee. Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes, Veery, Broad-winged Hawk and Scarlet Tanager were also seen. The Swainson's Thrushes were both common and conspicuous near the boardwalk. The most productive area was on the trail between the nature center and the rehab center. Summer Tanager and Rose-breasted Grosbeak were also reported from this area, but not seen by me.
