The numbers say it all. Worked both the east and west sides of Matheson Hammock this afternoon, putting in more effort than usual. Very hard time finding any birds. 19 individual warblers of 12 species. One thrush that flew across the service road that was most likely a Swainson's. Also a flyover Peregrine Falcon.

Prothonotary - 1(my only notable species)
Northern Parula - 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1
Yellow-throated Warbler - 1
Prairie Warbler - 1
Palm Warbler - 1
Black-and-white Warbler - 1
American Redstart - 4
Worm-eating Warbler - 1
Ovenbird - 3
Northern Waterthrush - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 2
My bird for the day is Boat-tailed Grackle.
