That's good that the Canada stayed. Lower numbers are due to the NNW winds, which in fall can be notorious for birding. Here's an example. Oct. 16, 2004: 18 warbler species, HUUUGE numbers, 2 Golden-winged with a lot of supporting characters in thrushes, orioles, tanagers, etc. SW-W winds. Oct. 17, 2004, 8 warbler species, very low numbers, nothing notable, with North winds.
