I'd love to find out that information. I've been in Miami since 1992, and always enjoyed birding. I'm not sure if migration is worse or not. Back in those days I knew nothing about birds and radar, and had only a small knowledge of how weather influenced bird numbers. So basically, I kind of birded 'at random' in spots like Matheson, Ad Barnes, Enchanted Forest and by the mid-late 1990s, Cape Florida. Some days were awful (especially in spring) and other days were great. As now, fall migration seemed to have larger numbers of birds. Maybe lack of experience with local sites, or daily bird boards, often resulted in fewer species than I see these days overall. For instance, it took till 1999 to see a Kentucky here (one I get most recent years), and larger numbers of scarlet tanagers, indigo buntings, hooded warblers and chestnut-sideds, among others, in the last few years than in the past. I have certainly noticed more wintering 'goodies' here in more recent years. On the other hand, many resident birds (and a few wintering ones) unfortunately have just vanished...Just my two cents!
