In local fishing, there's a saying: winds out of the west, stay home and rest. I hope the subject line isn't a new one for birding. Although A.D. Barnes was not too birdy this morning, I'm hoping the Yellow-bellied Flycatcher sticks around. I'm thinking of going back Friday for a photo. With north winds tonight, what birds are around might just take flight. There is still a lot of unsettled weather to the south, so maybe the winds will help bring stuff in, and not take what little is around away.
In the meantime, I will celebrate today's YBFL with a Stone Imperial Stout. Oh yes, nothing but the best!
