There was a posting about 6 months ago that blue and yellows were flying north above the Palmetto and the macaws have also been seen on the campus of Barry University. I was delighted to find out that they might have relocated as the flock has been decimated by poaching in the last two years. The poachers have even ventured in Gables Estates and told the homeowner that the birds were his escaped pets. Fortunately, my neighbor called the guards as she was knowledgeable about the wild flock.
